Hot Tub Heater – Smell Burning?

Sunday, November 6, 2011 20:33 | Filled in Hot Tub Supplies

This is what happened to one poor soul. He bought a used hot tub and found out the hot tub heater was faulty. Fortunately the power kept tripping so he was alerted to the problem otherwise it may have been serious. Make sure when buying anything used that you get it checked out first or obtain some sort of warranty if possible. It could save you a lot of heartache in the future.

I purchased the hot tub used and used it one winter and it has sat for one winter. Fortunately for me I found a website that carries the correct heater element to

In this case, the owner was able to find the right hot tub heater element to replace the damaged one. Some people aren’t so fortunate. Do you have a similar story? If so, please write to us and let us know.

Hot Tub Chemicals

Keep It Clean

It may sound obvious but a water testing kit should be one of your key hot tub supplies – unless you want to experience skin irritation, change of hair color or red eyes to name but a few of the yukky things that could happen should the chemical balance of the water be wrong. Did I mention that the hot tub could also suffer damage! Now I have your attention. Yes, I’m afraid that there is work involved until they invent something that can do it for us. :)

A hot tub owner should check it more often if the spa is being used more than usual. The best time to test your chemicals is at least an hour after use so that the

I know you just want to jump in and play with the bubbles but the cost of not having a kit in your hot tub supplies arsenal could be devastating so please take heed.

Hot Tub Supplies

The Ultimate Gadget

I know that technology will always add to the already oversaturated market of hot tub supplies but after reading this, I felt compelled to publish what has to be the ultimate gadget. Admittedly you will require an iPhone or iPad to download it but at least the app is free. Let’s hope that soon they bring out an app to transport you in and out of the hot tub. :)

“By Staff Writer – Langley Times People no longer have to run outside and pre-set the temperature or turn on the spa lights at night and then run back to turn off the deck light which had illuminated their path to the hot tub in the first place. …”

I realize that most of you are thinking that this latest hot tub supplies feature only helps to increase the growing problems associated with our society today. Then again…………………………….ahhhhhh

As with any mechanical device, things can go wrong. Hot tub parts wear out over a period of time, even if you look after them. If you’ve had your hot tub for a long time, finding the right part can be difficult if not impossible. Then you have to install it and unless you are particularly handy, this too can be tricky and expensive. Fortunately the video below should be able to help you with all your problems.

Buying A Used Hot Tub Can Be Risky

Buying A Used Hot Tub

Be Careful When Buying A Used Hot Tub

When buying a used hot tub, be prepared for the worst and you won’t be disappointed. This guy was told that there was only a small leak but because of the price, he still considered it to be a bargain and had confidence in his own ability to repair it. Unfortunately, not only was the leak worse than he was told but as you will find out, other more serious complications arose.

“I bought a used hot tub in an attempt to keep things low budget. Its a 2000 BeachComber 550c. The previous owner said it had a slow leak over the winter, …”

There are some great lessons to be learnt from this article when buying a used hot tub. I love a happy ending of course but not everybody has friends like this guy.

Hot Tub Covers To Keep The Bills Down

Tuesday, November 1, 2011 5:22 | Filled in Videos

Just like a swimming pool, hot tub covers are the essential accessory for keeping the warmth in and the utility bills down. In addition, they prevent people falling in and for those with a locking device, provide piece of mind from wandering toddlers. Choosing the right one however can be time consuming which is why I have included the information below.

“Reviews sale best deals ►► Hot Tub Covers Spa Covers 4 thick sloping to 2 for rain run off ◄◄ buy discount Hot Tub Covers Spa Covers 4 thick sloping to 2 …”

bestkitchenprices.com/Hot-Tub-Covers-Spa-Covers-4-thick-sl…

As with all equipment of this nature, how long hot tub covers last will depend on how they’re treated. Does anyone out there hold the record? If so I would really like to know the length of time in use and the brand name.
